Three Feet

This is what our feet looked like at the end of the day at Old Fort Days or Heritage Days here in Fort Gibson. We went to the fort and walked around looking at the period re-enactors and sampling some food and drinks. It had been raining Thursday evening so it was still a little muddy to say the least.

There are a whole lot more pictures down below.....take a peek!

  3. Jenn: it was very hot and we walked a long way up a muddy hill with a cranky 8 yr old....but yes we had a good time and learned some things.

LL: We walked barefoot through all the muddy grass and that was nice and squishy. :o)

  4. Muddy grass, I know exactly what the squishy feeling is like. Have you ever walked on the edge of the pond and felt your toes sinking into the cool ooze....its a great feeling!

  5. LL: we found several places like that in the higher trafficked areas. I DON'T like feeling the mud on my flip-flopped feet as it causes slippage and grossness, but I do love the feel of squishy mud between my piggies. I am giving them a good soak tonight and re-painting them before our trip.
