Chocolate Heaven on a Stick

This is a "Snickers Caramel Apple" it was like Heaven on a stick. It was a Granny Smith apple (the best kind!) covered in caramel, rolled in peanuts and drizzled with chocolate. If you ever see one of these in the mall where you are shopping, run to it! Buy it and dig your teeth into it and be happy God made apples for us to slather with caramel.

  6. It looks really yummy....
I am not sure I would eat it that close to my computer though..haha
I enjoyed the cave picture too!
That little green apple song went through my head when I read this..
Of course that is a very big green apple unless the caramel is 5 inches thick...
    Have a wonderful day!

  7. Oh good heavens!
I remember eating a glaced (?) apple in Denmark when I was about 8. It was the best thing I'd ever tasted. We don't get them here in Norway - Have never seen one anyways - And definitely no caramel-peanut-chocolate covered apples. And no starbucks.

Tell me again - why do I live here??

  8. Seeker: um....that is Susie's apple next to her Apple. She wouldn't let me touch it so I don't know if it got stick or not. :o)

    Raggedy: What green apple song?
The apple was huge!! I couldn't even eat it all. I ate about half of mine, and this is what was left of Susie's.

Nerdine: Hmmmm I wonder how an apple of this magnitude would travel?? Shall I send y ou some Starbucks Coffee?? I know it is the ambiance that you pay for but if you are interested, let me know. It is on sale at the grocery right now. :o)

  9. I think the better option would be to go to the US and experience it there... ;)
I am actually saving to go there - Haven't decided where or when yet, but thank you so much for your offer!!

Lyrics for Song: Little Green Apples
Lyrics for Album: All Time Greatest Hits

And i wake up in the morning with my hair down in my eyes and she says hi
And i stumble to the breakfast table while the kids are going off to school, goodbye.
And she reaches out and takes my hand and squeezes it and says how you feeling hon?
And i look across at smiling lips that warm my heart, and see my morning sun.

And if that's not loving me, then all i've got to say,
God didn't make the little green apples, and it don't rain in indianapolis in the summer time.
And there's no such thing as dr. seuss or disney land and mother goose, no nursery rhymes.
God didn't make the little green apples, and it don't rain in indianapolis in the summer time.
And when myself is feeling low, i think about her face and go and ease my mind.

Sometimes i call her up, at home, knowing she's busy.
And ask her if she can get away, meet me and maybe we can grab a bite to eat.
And she drops what she's doing and she hurries down to meet me, and i'm always late.
But she sits waiting patiently, and smiles when she first sees me, because she's made that way.

And if that ain't loving me, then all i've got to say,
God didn't make the little green apples, and it don't snow in minneapolis when the winter comes.
And there's no such thing as make-believe, puppy dogs or autumn leaves, no bb guns.
God didn't make the little green apples, and it don't snow in minneapolis when the winter comes.
