Michael Buble' and Birthday Cake

I heard on a local radio station that one of our new favorite crooners, Michael Buble' is coming to Tulsa in March. How convenient, that my birthday just happens to be near the concert date! How sweet is that?

Tickets go on sale Friday so Joe may be making a morning trip to Tulsa to buy us tickets. The concert will be at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center March 14th. If any of y'all would like to go with us please let us know so we can make proper arrangements. :o)

This concert is right in line with our Ballroom Dancing class we have been going to so this should be really fun...I wonder if he would croon a song just for me?

  3. Oh, I would love to come, however it will have to be in spirit, not person, as it is a bit far for me to travel for a concert. Thanks for asking, however. Good luck with the tickets, Meow

  7. Can you stop with the ugly guy pics! How many more do we have to take! First Hugh, now Mr. Buble'.

Now, am I the only one that laughs when I hear his name?

    Buble' (pronounced BOO-BLAY)

There are parts of my mental process that are still 10.

And I am jealous. He has a fabulous voice just like Frank & Dean. For the lounge music genre' challenged that would be Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. They can sing. Good music. With lyrics that don't include the words, "MmmBop", "Bootylicious" or "OOps, I did it again"

  8. He may not be a looker, but boy can he sing! Some of the songs make me want to close my eyes and dream a little dream of......Hugh...oops I mean Joe, my beloved. ;o)

  9. Funny, I'd never heard of him until I was sitting in my nail salon and they were playing one of his concerts on the TV. Apparently he has a great fan in my vietnamese nailshop owner...

  12. well, he looks young enough to be a son to most of us here. and we have a vietnamese nail shop owner too. whats with that? is it some sort of vietnamese thing?

  13. What that they like him or that they have nail salons? If it is the latter it must be a nation-wide thing. We have a ton of Vietnamese owned nail salons here too. It is a booming business and they make a TON of money off American women.

  15. Susie, Michael Buble' (haha!! Buble'!) was born when I was just shy of three, aka 9 Sep 1975. Interestingly enough, we were on the Enquirer together as youngest mother and son.

Toddler gives birth to phenom singer!

Wait, I'm his mother and I joked about his hotness. I feel dirty.

aunt josefina, I have a Vietnamese woman who does removes my sasquatch-ian eyebrows and does an awesome pedicure.

Pedi with 10 min leg massage plus massage chair during visit=$24 tip included! I would marry this woman, although I'm happily married to a big strapping linebacker guy, preferably.

I am so happy I found this blog....you guys are so much fun.

  16. Hi Aunt Josefina, thanks for the visit to holtieshouse, seems we are thinking similar thoughts with the posts, if my generation hadn't been spoiled by Sinatra, Deano, Tony Bennett and even Elvis, Michael Buble' would have a better chance, of todays artists he's tops.
What happened to Hugh Jackmans picture? was it too hot?

  17. Well you would have to visit my hubby, Uncle Joe's blog for the picture. I should go back and add one shouldn't I?

    THanks for coming by!

  18. How exciting about the Buble tickets!!!
My daughter and I are fans too.
My son plays in a youth band. One of the kids in the band has a dad who is in another band. The man is not a Christian. His band is called The Swinging Johnsons.
    I cracked up over that!!!
Hope your weekend has been a goodie!

  21. I had so much fun last night. His show was great! This guy can sing (apparently) but I didn't know that he is a comedian as well. So hilarious! I'll definitely see him again on his next show here in NY. I'm sure you will love his concert! Enjoy!
