What a great moment this is in my day. The children....yes I used the plural word there...are both gone to my (wonderful) Sister In Law's house for a sleep over. Her oldest, Elle, is having a sleep over and Carly is attending that. Cassidy is there also as the guest of Elle's younger sister, Alli. Both our girls were so excited all day.
Joe and I were pretty excited too. It has been a long time since we have been all alone in the new house. ;o)
We drove to Tulsa for Thai food and are now about to enjoy a quiet evening. Well maybe just a little noise.....there is a good football game on.
Woo hoo! Hope you enjoyed a peaceful and quiet evening. Ya know that TV remote has a mute button; my favorite button... and you can still watch the football game, making up your own commentary.
ReplyDelete...or not.
ReplyDeleteWe did try to watch the OU game and I fell alseep during the last few minutes. When Joe came in for a recap after a quick bathroom break, he was a little miffed that I didn't know what was going on.
ReplyDeleteWe hardly knew what to do with 17 whole hours without the children. We eventually figured it out though......
that rocks! but football??? ewww.

ReplyDeleteSleep overs are great... as long as they're at someone else's house, right??
ReplyDeleteMy Mom used to cringe when we talked about having them as kids... she used to call them "Stay-up-overs"!
