One day this week Joe and I were sitting on the porch admiring our baby girl riding her bike all over the yard and driveway. Cassidy has recently rediscovered her big-girl bike and has had fun riding every where we will let her.
She was riding fast on the concrete drive way and stopped suddenly and left skid marks behind her bike. Joe said, "You left skid marks!"
She turned around as far as she could to check the back of her pants.
We almost fell off the porch laughing.
That was funny! I love when those moments happen. I still remember a bunch from my little brother and from my children. I love those little moments. The age when what you say is always taken literally is priceless.. thanks for posting. You brought up some memorable moments from my past. *smile
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day! Hugs
That's funny!
ReplyDeletehahahahaha. good one.
ReplyDeletethats goooooood. i strongly approve of your values you have instilled in this child. you have clearly taught her the meaning of "skid mark" in its true form, and the only thing that will eventually matter when she is one day fishing for a marlin.
ReplyDeleteTooooo funny. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like living in your household would be a lot of fun.
Take care and have a great weekend.
