Here is the deal of the day I found at Walgreens....ain't it the cutest!? It will hang on the wall soon, because I found CassiJo carrying it by the bell handles. It really rings too!
I have been coveting it since Christmas waiting for it to go on sale. Got it for $4.99!!
Think it will inspire Joe to cook more? I hope so. He is a great cook. He likes to add secret ingredients as we all know from the SPAM
incident.........
Here are some updated photos to demonstrate the size of the clock against my favorite coffee cup. ( a gift straight from the gobhole!)
The clock also has a neon light I forgot to mention! Here is a neat picture of the light on. :o)
I love that clock.
ReplyDeleteHey Susie - I'm first.
very cute, AJ.
ReplyDeleteI bought the whole Aunt Jenny's line of stuff over the years..it'll be gone soon and replaced by ebay china.
now what that had to do with your eat at joe's clock, I don't know.
ReplyDeleteemmasomersby, AJ needs a link to the Aunt Jenny stuff please..
ReplyDeleteIt should read Eat at Josefina's. Or does Joe do the cooking?
ReplyDeleteYes, ma'am. joe does the cooking.
ReplyDeleteHis specialty is breads! YUM!
ReplyDeleteI have heard a rumour about chicken salad sandwiches. I have never seen them though
ReplyDeleteYou never come when you invited. I cry and cry to be your bucky Ted. (ask Joe to translate)
ReplyDeletewhat a nice ticker you have there;)
ReplyDeleteHa!! BB you are funny!
ReplyDeleteI should have put something to demonstrate the scale....it is huge.
Joe got a new ticker!
Very retro.
ReplyDeleteOne order of Spam Pancakes, please.
Too cool ... well done on finding it. Hope your day is going well. Take care, Meow
ReplyDeleteThanks ANP! You are a peach!
ReplyDeleteJamie you must come over for spam-cakes soon.
Meow, the alarm went off this morning and got everyone up to start the day. It was loud!
anne said spancakes on joes blog!haha good one annie!
ReplyDeletewow, what a bargain, good job!!! was UJ surprised when he opened the present???? heehee
ReplyDeleteI like that. My kids would like that. Can we borrow it?
ReplyDeleteWalgreens had more and now I want them for blogger prizes!!
ReplyDeleteAnne I am afraid the Princesses of Hiney would miss the clock.
You know it doesn't tick like those old clocks. I remember being at my grandparents house and that ticking would wake me up at night. Do you have a memory like that??
I had the clock in my car (dumb) and Joe got in and saw it and said, "Is that a present for MEEEEEEE?!" Yes he liked it, although when I opened it and put it together he was a bit sleepy and didn't really care at that moment....untill the alarm went off. haha
Joes.... Twisted Joes sounds really good right now.... AJ when I'm in town again we'll have to meet up at Twisted Joes! I'm really bummed about missing the Chili Cookoff, but Peanut has a soccer game that day so I suppose we would've missed it anyway without the babyshower I'm giving... oh yea, the clock...yes, that clock is adorable!
ReplyDeleteNow, when you say "huge"....
ReplyDeletePlease, take a photo that shows how big it really is.
Standing by....
Seeker, that clock is as big as my noggin. and has a sheen almost as sheen as my sheen when you plug it in.
ReplyDeletedisclaimer: This comment in no way was meant to be a plug for the Martin Sheen family.

ReplyDeletecool! a non-sheen family noggin clock that comes with Spam pancakes for breakfast. I think I want one.
ReplyDeleteSo isn't that the cutest clock???
ReplyDeleteI am duly impressed. Especially with the neon feature.
ReplyDeleteWhere are my Foster Grants?
It's wonderful. I didn't realize how big it was.
ReplyDeleteWow, $4.99...very cool deal!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, indeed.
ReplyDeleteIt is bigger than I thought from the first pic.
My dad has a music room that is all retro and he has several clocks in it. He'd like that clock. I may sneak into your house and steal it some time. If it goes missing, then you'll know I was there.
Jamie Dawn you troublemaker!
ReplyDeleteI will let our trusty Bloodhound, Aubrie the Cocker Spaniel smell your blog so she will recognize your odor when you sneak in.
